The Quick Category: Infrastructure / Systems Design Problem The CUNY Workforce Development & Innovation department needed a unified digital hub where instructors, students, and administrators could easily access curriculum, share updates, and centralize reporting. Solution Piloted and developed the first centralized program portals using Slashpage—creating structured spaces for knowledge access, communication, and program visibility. Key Achievements: Designed and launched 4 live portals; first of their kind in the department Established scalable blueprint for future workforce programs Replaced fragmented communication with centralized hubs Set groundwork for department-wide administrative knowledge base layer Status: Active (Phase 1 complete; scalability and larger integration in progress) The Future: Model adopted as departmental standard for all current and future workforce programs The Detailed Approach I designed the full information architecture and built the portal framework in Slashpage, integrating learning resources, dashboards, and program-specific knowledge bases.
